The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2019 finalists have been revealed and fans are eager to know who the winners will be, especially in the artist of the year category, where Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna and J Balvin are up for the coveted award.
This year, the Billboard Latin Music Awards will return to Las Vegas to celebrate its 29th edition, which will be broadcast live on Apr. 25. The only awards show to honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music, the awards are determined by the actual sales, streaming, radio airplay and social data that informs Billboard’s weekly charts during a one-year period from the rankings dated February 3, 2018, through this year’s January 26 charts.
Now, let’s see more about the Artist of the Year finalists:

This year, Ozuna dominates the Billboard Latin Music Awards as a 23-time finalist. The Puerto Rican urban singer released his second studio album, Aura, in 2018 and replaced his debut album Odisea from the No. 1 on Top Latin Album on the chart dated Sept. 8, 2018. We never expected Ozuna collaborating with DJ Snake, Selena Gomez and Cardi B, but “Taki, Taki” became a hit, peaking at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs on the Oct. 13, 2018 dated-chart.
The Colombian singer also tops the finalist list for Billboard Latin Music Awards with 13 nods. With Bad Bunny and Cardi B, Balvin scored his first No. 1 on the Hot 100 with “I Like It.” J Balvin surprised us by collaborating with David Guetta and Bebe Rexha for the single “Say My Name.”
